“Phantom of the Opera” is Spectacular!

**** Recommended **** As you’re getting ready for the holidays, you should leave room in your schedule for a really special treat, “Phantom of the Opera”.  Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular production is true to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s original (now celebrating its 30th anniversary), yet different enough to thrill both old and new audiences.  You’ll fall in love all over again, so hurry and order your tickets, it’s here until January 4th.  4 Spotlights

“The Phantom of the Opera” runs through January 4th at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 West Randolph, Chicago.  Running time is 2 hours, 45 minutes, with an intermission.  Tickets range from $50-$140.

Performances are Tuesdays at 7:30 pm; Wednesdays at 2:00 and 7:30 pm; Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm; Saturdays at 2:00 and 8:00; and Sundays at 2:00.  There will not be an 8:00 performance on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24th).  There will be no performances on Christmas Day, Dec. 25th.

When looking for parking, pass up the high rise garage closest to the theater, that one charges $37.  The garage at Franklin and Lake charges just $13 for the evening, and it’s just a couple of blocks from the theatre.  FYI (800) 775-2000, all Ticketmaster retail locations and www.BroadwayInChicago.com.
