NWI Symphony Orchestra FREE Summer Music Concerts

The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra and Music Director/Conductor Kirk Muspratt announce the 2017 South Shore Summer Music Festival.  The festival, beginning July 22 and concluding August 12, will feature FREE concerts by the Northwest Indiana Symphony in 7 communities across Northwest Indiana. Come early, bring your lawn chairs and blankets and, relax and enjoy the music!  Everyone is welcome.

“We are so excited to celebrate 11 years of our wonderful summer music festival. Thank you for supporting your Orchestra,” said Maestro Muspratt. “Join us for fun, relaxing evenings filled with beautiful music in our own backyards!”

The concerts will have something for everyone and will feature light classical, songs from movies and Broadway, and patriotic music.

Wed., August 2, 2017 at 7:30 PM
Downtown Valparaiso at the  Porter Health Amphitheater in Central Park Plazafor a free concert under the direction of Kirk Muspratt – music director and conductor of the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra. The concert will have something for everyone! Guests are asked to bring their own blanket or chair.

The South Shore Summer Music Festival is generously sponsored by Chase with additional support from Strack and Van Til. The Symphony’s 2017-2018 season will consist of 3 classical and 3 pops concerts presented from September through May. Subscriptions and Tickets are available now.
