NWI Symphony 84th Season Continues

The second half of our season is packed with storytelling, imagination, and serious wow-factor—from cozy matinees to big nights out.

Make your 2026 plans now!

Start with Stories with Maestro on Sunday, February 15, a laid-back matinee where our Maestro trades the baton for great stories about his musical journey from Canadian coal mining town to world travels. It’s casual, engaging, and a perfect Sunday afternoon.
Turn up the drama on Friday, March 6 with Spellbound, featuring the bold, cinematic sounds of Prokofiev and Stravinsky and featuring Phil Potempa as the narrator. With music inspired by Cinderella and The Firebird, this is orchestral storytelling at its most magical.
On Sunday, March 29, our Chorus takes center stage for Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living—a modern choral work that’s powerful, emotional, and unexpectedly uplifting. Mezzo-soprano Susan Nelson will be featured. And because every great season deserves an epic ending…

Wrappin it up on Friday, May 22 with The Music of Tina Turner, honoring the legendary songs, strength, and spirit of an icon whose music continues to inspire generations. Featuring superstar singers LaKisha Jones, Nova Y. Payton, and Armando Imagines.
