New Contemporary Yoga Center Opens In Valpo

The Valparaiso community has recently welcomed ONE –  A vibrant yoga, meditation, and gathering space to 1605 Laporte Avenue, located across the street from the north entrance to Valparaiso University. The spacious studio offers a multitude of classes, a kitchen space, and workshops that welcome global teachers including Saul David Raye, Girish, and Seane Corn.

Classes are held seven days a week and are taught by a team of 15 certified instructors. The owner, Sherri Dujmovich has taught for eight years and has been practicing for 15, and continues to learn through conferences, retreats, and workshops. Yoga classes range from beginner, intermediate, hot, and restorative practices centered on healing and peace. Meditation and Qi Gong (natural healing- mediation in movement) classes fill the class schedule, as well as soon to be offered nutrition workshops from Mari Hahn, a certified health coach and owner of Alive and Well Health and Wellness.

Upcoming workshops include “Introduction to Aerial Yoga Playshops,” and “Restorative Aerial Yoga” offered on September 8th and 10th – limited spaces are available.

Seane Corn, an international yoga teacher, will lead a weekend immersion, “The Yoga of Awakening” at ONE on October 27-29. ONE is the only Chicagoland stop for Seane Corn on her 2017 Tour. For more information on ONE and to view our class schedule please visit www.onevalpo.com or contact the studio at: 219-240-1810.
