moms club easter egg hunt now operated by valparaiso parks ten dollars a child

Moms Club Passes the Easter Egg Hunt to Valpo Parks

Valpo Parks is excited to announce a new partnership with the Mom’s Club of Valparaiso, IN to continue the community’s beloved Annual Easter Egg Hunt—a spring tradition that has brought joy to local families for more than 25 years.

After organizing and hosting the event for a quarter century, the Mom’s Club of Valparaiso, IN is passing the torch to Valpo Parks to help ensure the tradition continues for years to come. Valpo Parks is honored to take on the event and will work closely with the Mom’s Club to maintain the fun, excitement, and family-friendly atmosphere the community has come to know and love.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, March 14, at Central Park Plaza and is open to children ages 2–8. Families can enjoy a day full of activities, including food trucks, a DJ, face painting, bounce houses, photos with the Easter Bunny, and—of course—the highly anticipated egg hunt under the Urschel Pavilion.

“We are incredibly proud of the Easter Egg Hunt and the memories it has created for families over the past 25 years,” said Chelsea Huff of the Mom’s Club of Valparaiso, IN. “Passing this tradition to Valpo Parks gives us confidence the event will continue to grow while staying true to the spirit of community, family, and fun that inspired it from the beginning.”

“We are grateful for the trust the Mom’s Club of Valparaiso, IN has placed in us,” said Retired Valpo Parks Director Kevin Nuppnau. “Their dedication built the foundation for a truly special event, and we look forward to continuing that legacy.”
