Miller Beach Farmers Market Remains Open During Covid

The Miller Beach Farmers Market has a new schedule for summer.  They are more than just fruits and vegetables.  The Market opened June 7th, 2020.
The Sunday market now runs 11am-3pm, every week, June through August 30th. Thank you to everyone who has been supportive of the Market and our 2020 Pandemic Edition of the Miller Beach Farmers Market
Quick reminder ! We have local honey — raw, wildflower, local honey from Mark Daniels Bee Company in Portage. Sales of this honey help to kept Market operations funded during our downsized Covid19 year. See Our Benefits Raw Honey Article here!
Additionally, we have sturdy, attractive Market bags and beeswax wraps for sale. Stop by the Market Tent to check it all out.
Lake County Eats Local has been providing refrigeration for farmer drop orders at the Market as well as processing SNAP / EBT transactions for participants. Donna Catalano or Marie Pittman are onsite to share information about this exciting grant-funded program. They have big plans for the future to expand food resources for our entire county community!
House of Rufus has been selling out each week of their scrumptious baked breads — to guarantee your loaves email wildhouseofrufus@gmail.com before Friday at 5 pm. The bread is baked fresh on Sunday morning and pre-bagged for pick up at the Market.
Laird Farms is bringing the tomatoes, squash, zucchini, radishes, meats and more to the Market each week. Pre-order a wider range of product at www.LairdFarms.com
Grounded Earth Farms is now selling meats from Jake’s Country Meats — order this and a very wide range of local fruit and vegetables at localline.ca/miller-beach-farmers-market ALSO — try the pizza dough! Perfect to have on hand for pizza night — add in their tomato sauce & Italian sausage for a special treat!
Bob’s Backyard — as local as you can get — our neighbor Bob is bringing his bounty – tomatoes, cukes, zucchini and peppers!
Nana’s Tidbits offers pre-order through the localline.ca/miller-beach-farmers-market website. Don’t miss her fresh local eggs — handpicked hours before the market and her jams, pickles, and beets.
Stamper Cheese offers artisan cheeses on site. Check out the Burrata, Red Rock Cheddar, String Cheese ( 2 kinds!!) and Parmesan wedges. The burrata is not only excellent with fresh tomato and basil, but can work well with the Parmesan on the previously mentioned pizza….. hmmm, we see a connection….
Ancient Mystics will be at the market — you can still purchase vegetable plants, as well as smudges, herbs, oil, and incenses from Carl, Chris, and Cashus.
Anna’s Kombucha — is at the market each week with her locally produced Booch and pickled condiments for your health and enjoyment. Pre-order by emailing Anna at asbkteas@gmail.com
— COMING IN AUGUST —
HUMANE SOCIETY OF NWI — will be fundraising at the Market on August 3rd. Come find out how you can help this worthy organization!
And a sneak peek… we’re in conversation with a new coffee vendor and hope the smell of freshly roasted beans will be wafting across the Market soon.

And now that the City and State have made it official — we continue to ask that everyone MASK UP !! when attending the Market.
