Marriott’s “She Loves Me” is Charming, Funny and Pure Entertainment

**** Highly Recommended **** Marriott’s new production, “She Loves Me” is an adaptation of Miklós László’s 1937 play, “Parfumerie”.  The secret ‘pen pal’ plot in “She Loves Me” has been the basis for many other plays and movies including “You’ve Got Mail”.  At any rate, “She Loves Me”, a charming musical love story set in pre-war Budapest, is light, funny, flirty and pure entertainment.  While the musical is a nostalgic reflection of the innocence of that time, it also pays tribute to the golden age of customer service.  Remember when the clerks at Marshall Field’s had all the time in the world to wait on you?   4 BIG Spotlights
