Lookingglass Theatre’s “Beyond Caring” is about Hard Work in a Dead-End Job

*** Recommended *** “Beyond Caring” is one of those plays … I didn’t like it, yet I recognize the excellent work by the playwright, the talented cast and the creative team.  Lookingglass Theatre turned their space into a grim, gray factory, even using hanging fluorescents instead of theater spotlights to light the space.  If you want to understand the lives of America’s underclass, “Beyond Caring” will help.  3 Spotlights
