**** Recommended **** Did you ever wonder what all those fairy tale princesses thought/felt when the handsome prince found/kissed/rescued them from whatever evil was lurking around? If you’re like me and thought that ‘happily ever after’ was a crock, then “Disenchanted!” is the musical for you. Brought to you by Broadway in Chicago, “Disenchanted!” features ten princesses who have had it! “Disenchanted!” is hilarious and I give it 4 Spotlights.
“Disenchanted” runs through June 5th at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut, Chicago. Running time is 90 minutes, no intermission. Performances are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm; Wednesdays at 2:00 and 7:30 pm; Saturdays at 2:00 and 8:00 pm; and Sundays at 2:00 and 6:00 pm. Tickets range from $35.75-$78.75.
