The Midwest Sundowners RC Flying Club is the best place in Northwest Indiana to visit if
you’ve ever wanted to fly your own airplane. Flying Radio Control aircraft is a HOBBY that can be enjoyed by person’s regardless of their age. There has been lots written about the value of having hobbies to enjoy and FLYING Radio Control airplanes checks many of the boxes that Hobbies offer.

Radio control airplanes have never been more affordable, and the reliability of the equipment used today is excellent. At our flying field you will find our well-manicured grass strip as well as a 30 foot wide by 300 foot long Geotextile landing strip. We have an enclosed shelter, a deck that overlooks the flying field and ample charge stations for charging batteries.
The club has Flight Instructors and Club Training planes to help teach you to fly. No previous experience is necessary! We also allow drone flying and model rockets flights at our field! The 32-lane bowling alley is part of Inman’s Family Entertainment Center that has something for everyone of all ages. You wouldn’t realize it, but the act of bowling itself has a steady turnover.
