La Porte Lakefest Announces Schedule

     The City of La Porte is counting down the days until it is time for the third annual LakeFest! With their first two years being such a success, they are eagerly anticipating the upcoming 2023 summer celebration.
     Running July 28th through July 30th, the festival boasts three days of music, art, food and fun for the whole family on La Porte’s Pine, Stone and Clear lakes. This event is the perfect occasion to showcase the city’s lakes and natural resources, as well as show neighboring communities what it means to be “Livin’ the Lake Life” in the City of La Porte.

     Back by popular demand, this year’s main event, P1 AquaX Jet Ski Races, will take place on both Saturday and Sunday on Stone Lake. Anyone is welcome to stop by Stone Lake Beach to take part in the action, and we hope to see many familiar faces there! Stone Lake holds great power with its sandy shorelines, scenic parks, and an inviting pavilion that provides a wonderful escape for anyone seeking a break from the daily grind.
     The festival offers a wide range of activities that cater to all ages, making it the perfect destination for a family outing. Kids will have a blast in the dedicated Kids Fun Zone, filled with exciting games and activities that will keep them entertained Saturday morning. But that’s not all, music lovers are in for a treat with our incredible lineup of concerts, featuring talented artists that will have you dancing and singing along. On Saturday, there will be free admission to The Collective Artisan Market, where you can find unique and handcrafted items that make perfect souvenirs or gifts for your loved ones.
     Get ready for the ultimate family fun experience at the City of LaPorte LakeFest! Get ready to kick off The City of La Porte  LakeFest 2023 in style with an incredible lineup of Friday Entertainment!
     On Friday July 28th at Stone Lake Beach and the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater there will be an unforgettable night of music and magic. First up, at 6:00 pm, Catalina Wine Mixer Band will take the stage to get the party started.   Then, over at the amphitheater, the Justin Roberts Family Concert, opened by KALITA Magic, is sure to be a hit with kids and families.

         For LakeFest’s Saturday concert at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater 103.9 The Bear presents this year’s headliner, Everclear, opened by James Neary and His Guitar and Midwest Hype. Fireworks will be presented at 8:45 before Everclear. Purchasing Premium Stage Front Passes will grant you access to a VIP, standing-room only, section directly in front of the stage.  Premium Parking Passes are also  available for our Saturday night show. You can purchase those beginning on Monday for $20. The Premium Parking lot, off McClung Road, opens at 6 PM.
     Saturday also includes a 5K Run/Walk, Volleyball Tournament, Artisan Market, P1Aquax PWC Races at Stone Lake, and Venetian Boat Parade on Pine Lake at 7pm. Take the Kids to the Fun Zone at Unity Park from 9am – 11am.
     On Sunday, there will be a Car Show from 8am – Noon at Fox Park, The P1 AquaX PWC Races a from 10am – 4pm at Stone Lake; Grass Volleyball at Kesling Park at 10:30am, Cornhole Tournament at Sonte Lake at 11am, Kids Nerf Battle at 1pm at the Fox Park Shelter #4, and Fiesta Del Lagao Concert from Noon – 3pm at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater.
