This is going to be a night to remember!! One of the top Beatles tribute bands pairing with the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra for a night filled with great music celebrating the Beatles!! The first Beatlemania Concert will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 7pm at the

For the many fans of The Beatles who never got to see them live, this concert is for you! “Classical Mystery Tour” is a tribute to The Beatles, joined by a Symphony Orchestra. The full show presents Beatles tunes sung, played and performed exactly as they were written. Hear “Penny Lane” with a live trumpet section; experience “Yesterday” with an acoustic guitar and string quartet; enjoy the rock/classical blend on the hard edged “I Am the Walrus.”

-“I Want to Hold Your Hand” was The Beatles’ first song to sell over a million copies in the United States.
-“Yesterday” is one of the most covered songs in music history, with over 2,200 recorded versions. Paul McCartney composed the melody in a dream and initially worried he had unconsciously plagiarized it.
     – “All You Need Is Love” was performed by The Beatles as part of the first live global television broadcast, “Our World,” watched by an estimated 400 million people worldwide. It became an anthem for the peace and love movement of the 1960s.
-“Twist and Shout” was the last song recorded by the band after a 12 hour session for their debut album “Please Please Me”. John Lennon, already hoarse after recording, shredded what remained of his voice. “That song nearly killed me,” Lennon claimed. “My voice wasn’t the same for a long time after; every time I swallowed it was like sandpaper.” The raw and raspy vocals of the song made it one of their most iconic hits.
