Annual Porkfest in downtown Kouts. Events will be happening all day throughout the downtown area. There is something for everyone of all ages in your family. The Kouts Porkfest’s first event of the day will be the 5K Walk/Run. Other activities include sales of arts, crafts, and food by approximately 100 vendors, an hour‑long parade.
The day starts at 8:00 a.m. with the Country Classic walk and run. Parade kicks off later in that day and comes right down Main Street. The streets are filled with food vendors, arts and crafts, live entertainment, a pork burger eating contest, a double elimination cornhole tournament, and a guess-the-weight-of-a-pig contest.
Hosted by the Kouts Festivals and Events, the mission of Kouts Festivals and Events is to bring quality events to Kouts and the community. In addition we also like to give back to the community through scholarships and supporting local sports and organizations. Call 219-766-0720 or 219-405-1452.
