Indiana Dunes State Park, Chesterton. Local Food, Live Music And A Festive Celebration. Food Vendors Open At 6pm, and Fireworks begin at 9:15pm.      LAPORTE 2023: Kiwanis 4th of JULY Parade & Fireworks, Parade is on July 4th: 10:00am  downtown LaPorte, One of the Largest parades in the stat of Indiana, lasts 2-3 hours for 2.5 miles hosted by Kiwanis. 219-363-9772 – Note: Fireworks on June 30th, 2023 at the summit, $20 per car, .    MICHIGAN CITY KIDDIE PARADE:  June 24th 2023 Registration is that day at Noon at 4th and Washington Street. Always the Last Saturday in June. The parade route will begin at 11:00 with Judging at 1:00 at 7th and Franklin, hosted by the Michigan City Parks & Recreation Dept, 873.1506, www.michigancityparks.com

Portage July 4th Parade & Festival, Parade line up is 8:30am, Parade will begin at 10:00 am. Festival will be at Founders Square and will begin at 5:00pm. Food vendors will be there and bands will begin at 6:00 pm and will play until 10:00 pm.    SCHERERVILLE, JULY 4TH FIREWORKS SHOW: June 30th 2023,
A fireworks show will be held at Rohrman Park to celebrate the 4th of July Every year the Schererville Parks and Recreation department hosts a fireworks show at Rohrman Park a few days prior to the 4th of July. The show starts at dusk. Those wishing to attend should try to come early. Bring chairs, blankets, and snacks. In the event the Fireworks show is cancelled due to weather, the time will be changed. 865-5530/ Click here.

     St John Freedom Fest: July 3rd, 2023, 3pm – 10pm,  Fireworks, beer tent, food trucks, bouncy houses etc Click Here

     St. John’s Annual Kid’s parade is Saturday before the Festival – July 2nd 2022 at 9:30 am, at Prairie West Park, located at 93rd and West Oakridge in St. John, You can decorate your own bike, float, wagon wheelchair, scooter, walker and roller blades. Prizes awarded.     VALPARAISO July 4th Celebration:  July, 4th, 2023, The Valparaiso Parks Dept. is hosting a 4th of July Celebration,  including a 5K and 2K Lit’l Firecracker Run/Walk (with a staggered start for social distancing), Fireworks Following at Urschel Field,  Visit Here

     SOUTH HAVEN JULY 4TH PARADE: 2023, The parade  take place on  July 4th at 11am.  Entrants will line-up at Saylor Elementary School (331 Midway Dr., Valparaiso IN  46385) at 11am. The parade route will begin at Saylor Elementary School and head west on Midway Drive to McCool Road, north on McCool Road to 750 N. and west on 750 N. to the American Legion Post 502 (479 W. 750 N, Valparaiso, IN  46385).  The review stand will be located at South Haven Elementary School (395 Midway Dr., Valparaiso, IN  46385).  Refreshments will be served and awards will be presented in the Legion Hall immediately following the parade. Highland Announces July 4th Festival Schedule

The Annual and popular July 4th Festival is held at Town Hall Main Square Park. There will be Art and craft booths, and food vendors along with live entertainment every day. In addition, there will be carnival rides, a parade, and live bands every day.

Preceded by the Annual Run for Riley and the recently added Kiwanis Kids Korner the 76th Annual 4th of July Parade hosted by Kiwanis Club of La Porte will take place on Monday, July 4th, 2022  at 10 a.m. Following the traditional route in uptown La Porte it will continue to travel west down Lincolnway from Tipton St. to Andrew Ave.
