Indiana Dunes Movie Premieres In Valparaiso

Indiana Dunes Tourism, in partnership with the National Park Service and Smith Donovan, is celebrating the new film at a nature-themed outdoor movie night fundraiser at the 49er Drive-In on October 8, 2020.
The premiere of the new Indiana Dunes National Park documentary film, Indiana Dunes: Nature’s Masterpiece takes place on Thursday, October 8th at the 49er Drive-In Theatre. Tickets are limited, so act quickly!
The 24-minute documentary-style film will be followed by a showing of America Wild: National Parks Adventure, a 45-minute documentary narrated by Academy Award® winner Robert Redford. The outdoor event will also include a snack box, popcorn, live music, and a cash bar.

Snack boxes catered by Ivy’s Bohemia House are included in the ticket price and will be provided at the door.
A cash bar, provided by Porter County Expo Center will be available, as well as complimentary popcorn, near the concession area. The concession stand will be closed, but restrooms will be available for use.
Entertainment will be provided before the show and during intermission by Johnny V, who has graciously donated his services. National Park Service rangers will also be on hand to answer questions.
The outdoor event will take place at the 49er Drive-In thanks to the generosity of the owner, Mike Cotton.
This event was planned with COVID-19 safety in mind. Health safety protocols and sanitation practices will be implemented, and guests won’t have to leave their cars if they don’t want to. Masks outside your “car area” will be strictly enforced.
Tickets are $35 per person. Each person in the vehicle must purchase a ticket. We will ask how many vehicles you will be riding in when you purchase your ticket. There is a 225 vehicle limit for the event.
Proceeds will go to help fund enhancements to the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center located at 1215 N. State Rd. 49, Porter, IN 46034. email dustin@indianadunes.com
