Ice Skating In Northwest Indiana

 Skating is freedom and exercise and beauty and fun. It is a great way to embrace winter while experiencing the joy of gliding over the ice with friends and family.

In order to experience the joy of skating, you have to learn the sport. It might seem an easy concept – just put on a pair of skates and glide over the ice. But it takes practice and lessons are helpful, as are tips from experienced skaters. Here are the locations in Northwest Indiana . .  .

The City of Crown Point has rinks for ice skating and hockey at the Sportsplex. The Crown Point Sportsplex is a 95-acre multi-use outdoor sports and event destination conveniently located off I-65.These rinks are open when the ice is frozen solid.

Fedder’s Alley Ice Skating Rink

48’ x 100’ with Lighting from 5:00pm-11:00pm; Warming Barrel: Lit by Park Maintenance by 3:30pm when rink is skatable and
