Congratulations to our contributing writer Valencia “Mother Diva” Dantzler on the 55th Anniversary of her birth. You only get one birthday and that is the day you are born. Every year you celebrate the anniversary of that momentous occasion.
Valencia’s birthday usually falls during election season so she likes to do something meaningful and throw an election mixer. She started “HOUSE THE VOTE” inspired by MTV’S ROCK THE VOTE BACK IN 2014.
As a spokesperson and mascot for the house music and electronic dance music community Mother Diva uses her platform to draw awareness to various causes.
She has officially changed her title to from Madam Ambassador of House and Electronic Dance Music to Empress of House and Electronic Dance Music for my 55th birthday and beyond.
Mother Diva and Congresswoman Dr. Robin Kelly at the 1st House The Vote Election Mixer 2014 at Vee-Js in Richton Park, IL Dr. Kelly is running for Illinois US Senate.
Come out and meet the candidates from all political parties. Green, Liberterian, Independent, Republican and Democrat.
As a fair person, Mother Diva wants voters to be educated and make informed decisions.
Early voting in Illinois starts February 12, 2026. The most important election is the Judges Race. Judges have more power than any other office, even the President. A judge can stop all executive orders and also garnish wages, freeze bank accounts, take away your driver’s license and lock your ass up. Judges are very powerful. I know at least 10 personally. Investigate candidates running for Judge and those judges that are up for re-election.
