In conjunction with the La Porte County Historical Society’s approved project exhibit celebrating the Bicentennial of Indiana entitled Prominent People of La Porte County,
Fern Eddy Schultz, La Porte County (IN) Historian will be presenting a program on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 1:00 at the LaPorte County Museum. The presentation, The Rest of the Story: Chapter II is a follow-up of an earlier one and will continue offering information about La Porte County individuals beyond the 45 included in the current exhibit.
The accomplishments of some of these people not only contributed to statewide betterment but also nationwide and worldwide. Most have not been given adequate recognition for their efforts. Among these will be Jacob Ellsworth Reighard, Anita King, James W. Fleming and more. Regular admissions apply.
