The famous Haunted Hayrides, organized by ABATE of Porter County, will take place October 22nd, 23 AND October 29 & 30 2021. Are you dying to see what’s in the woods? Admission for the Haunted Hayrides is $10/person. Children 6 and under are free with adult admission, but be warned, the rides can be quite scary for small children. Gates open at 6:30 pm and close at 10:00 pm.

Oak Ridge Prairie Park has Hayrides – and is a popular Fall activity!
Their Annual Wheel Chair Hayride will be Sunday, October, 24th, 2021 from noon – 2:30. (Advance Registration Required)  In addition to the regular hayrides offered in September and October, ORP hosts the only (to our knowledge) handicapped accessible hayride where participants remain in their wheelchair. Ross Township Trustee provides group hayrides at Hidden Lake Park beginning Saturday, Sept 15th, 2021 through Sun, Oct 20th, 2021.Hayrides may be scheduled on weekdays or weekends during the day or evening from noon to 8:00 p.m.  One ride accommodates 25 people. Groups will be assigned the use of a shelter and a bonfire will be provided at the end of the approximately 30 minute ride but the fee includes three hours of activity at the park. The cost for Ross Township Residents is $75.00 on the weekends and $50.00 on the weekdays.   For further information and/or reservations, contact the Ross Township office at 769-2111.
