In addition to the fun, affordable, family entertainment of RailCats baseball, fans at the U. S. Steel Yard enjoy spacious seating close to the field under the beautiful Midwestern summer sky. Fans are treated to theatre-like, field-level seating – the Steel Yard has 6,000 comfortable, chair-back seats.

Oilmen Baseball Announce 2023 Roster
As the new season begins, it is time to welcome the new additions who will suit up for the black and gold. The Northwest Indiana Oilmen look to have another successful season in store, and it all begins this Wednesday night against the Lake County Corn Dogs at 7pm.

Romsek Named Magazine of Griffith Generals Baseball
In addition to featuring a new home, the recently-relocated Griffith Generals will have a new manager at the helm for the 2023 Northern League campaign.
Peter Romsek has been hired to lead the Generals during their quest for a third consecutive playoff berth and second league title in the last three years. Romsek is in his third season as an assistant coach at Saint Xavier University in Chicago, where he serves as the team’s hitting coach, infield coach and recruiting coordinator.

Northwest Indiana Oilmen Announces 2023 Schedule
The Northwest Indiana Oilmen are a Pre-minor league baseball club that has captured the excitement of the “Region” with their aggressive play and determination on the filed. With a home file winning percentage of over.700, the Oilmen live up to their name through hard work and gritty play.
Games start at home on June 7th and run through August 3rd, 2023.

Griffith Generals Announce the 2023 Schedule!
New this year, the Griffith Generals baseball team is pitching from the Griffith H.S. Field at 901 W. Pine St., Griffith, Indiana. Opening Day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 30th, first pitch is at 7:10 PM. Part of the Northern League, they are batting against the Elkhart County Miracle, Indiana Panthers, Lake County Corndogs, Northwest Indiana Oilmen, and the Southland Vikings.

Joliet Generals Baseball Relocates to Griffith Indiana
The Northern League has announced that the Joliet Generals baseball team will be renamed the Griffith Generals and relocate to Griffith, Ind. beginning with the 2023 season.
