Fox Art & Music Festival – Lake Station Indiana

Saturday, September 24th, from 10 – 6 pm, come enjoy a day of live music, great art, unique products and vendors, and family friendly activities, all from local artists, musician’s, and small businesses. It’s an opportunity to experience the Arts and to support the Artists who create it! Fun, and cool experiences every hour. Please come enjoy the day.

Bring blankets and lawn chairs and an appetite for great music. From 10 to 12, enjoy the Open Mic, where various local talented musicians will perform original and cover tunes. Then enjoy various bands and artists perform. A local favorite, Greg Brown will A making his debut with his band! We have Out of the Fog, a local favorite, whose classic rock style keeps everyone dancing! In addition, the rocking blues of Straight Jacket Deluxe, will leave you in awe! With beautiful original songs and beloved classics, Paul Ladendorf will captivate with his mix of James Taylor songs and more, in addition to his original songs! We also are very pleased to hear some of Keenan Baxter’s original music! Keenan was a Grammy Contender and it’s an honor to have him join us! A true treat that should not be missed! And local favorite John Hackler will perform! It’s the best way to end the summer!
The Festival will be held adjacent to the building where The Fox Gallery is located. There will be parking in the grass. Behind The Seven Elephants Convenience Store, and across the street at KC’s Bar and Grill.
The Fox Gallery is located at 2901 Dekalb Street, Lake Station, Indiana, 46405! From 80-94, take the Central Avenue exit, which is exit number 13! At the exit, turn right onto Central Avenue! Follow Central Avenue to the second stop light, which is Dekalb Street! Turn right onto Dekalb and follow it two blocks south of Central Avenue! Fox Gallery is on the left side as the road curves! Look for the Fox on the sign and you know that you have arrived!

This is a public event and you are welcome to join it and to share this event with your friends as well as inviting your friends directly to the event page as well! Georgia Fox, Owner of Fox Gallery, would love everyone to come out and enjoy the show and perform if they wish during the Open Mic time period. Please make sure to click onto the join link on the page to help us get a accurate head count!  “We are a family friendly event so families and children are welcome as well! Please remember to supervise your younger children as well. Unattended children will be given a puppy and an espresso, (maybe!)” stated Georgia. There will be face painting, and Children’s Story time throughout the day as well as Kid’s Crafts!.

The Fox Gallery is bursting with Art! We are excited to be featuring art from Johnny Castillija, Adam Pusckac, Barry Reynolds, Barbara Krok, Stephen Van Proyen, Julius Titack, Marija Wozniak, Joe Ladendorf, Robin Fay Embry, Billy Lawler, Gary Collins, Dalton, Diala Chindu, Andre Nauta, Macrina Lopez, Georgia Hatfield, Linda and James Mackey, Annabelle Newell, Grant Red, Jackson Fox, Grant Red, Robert Kipness, and Mary & Jim Fox. The upcoming Festivals will be October 15th.
