Come join the Northern Indiana Historical Power Association for our 47th Annual Fall Harvest Festival will be held September 22nd – 24th, 2023! This year, NIHPA is partnering with the Cedar Lake Farmers Market again, and is fun for the whole family! This years feature will be the Massey family of tractors, equipment, engines and memorabilia. We will be hosting The Indiana Massey Collectors Association!
Featuring the Return of The American Truck Historical Society, and Winamac Old Auto Club. There’s also a flea market and craft fair during the show! See Steam Engines, Shingle Mill, Saw Mill, Field Tillage, Threshing, Corn Shelling, Rock Crushing, Dynamometer, Sorghum Cooking, Parade of Power, Antique Cars and Trucks on Sunday and MORE!

There will be lots of cool demonstrations, pony rides, horse drawn people mover wagons, giant tractors, live music, model trains, bounce houses and of course all your favorite food trucks and artisans!!!!!!
JUST FOR KIDS:
The ponies, horses and even petting zoo are joining this year as well. The bounce houses will be set up and ready for jumping!!!! Kids can get their face painted or a even a henna tattoo! They can pick out their favorite pumpkin as well from the cutest little farmer Rowan. He will have pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, even the funny looking and warty ones!!!! Kiddie barrel train rides all day long.
ON THE FARM:
Farming demonstrations, corn shelling, wheat threshing, sorghum cooking, shingle making and rock crushing. straw baling. In addition, there will be tractors, small engines, steam engines, Military Equipment and blacksmith.
FOR THE EQUIPMENT FANS:
Parade of Power (2pm Sat & Sunday), Antique Tractors on Display and Demonstrations, Steam Traction Engines Operating, Field Demonstrations – harvesting corn, Antique Tractor Pull, Dynamometer, steam powered Circular Saw & Shingle Mill, Buzz Saw Threshing & Baling Demonstrations, Corn Shelling & Grinding, and Military Vehicles.
Patrons will also enjoy the Craft Booths, Swap Meet – Flea Market, wagon rides, kiddie tractor pull, Parade (every day), Corn Shelling, Sorghum Cooking, pork chop dinner on Saturday from 4-7pm, live entertainment and food vendors, and food trucks. Open Sunday 10am – 4pm, On site camping for exhibitors available.
