The annual WinterFest, organized by the LaPorte Park and Recreation Department, returns in late January 2016, with a many of the events enjoyed over the past years as well as a couple of new twists to bring a blast of winter fun to town. Events scheduled to be held include: Ice sculpturing demonstration, Zumba, family ceramics class, cardboard sled races, horse-drawn wagon rides, snowball softball tournament, chili cook-off, dodge ball tournament, ice fishing derby, and much more!
