Winter Wonderland Festival-

      The 22nd annual Winter Wonderland at Wolf Lake festival will be presented on Saturday, Jan. 14 via Zoom at 10 a.m.and at 1:30 p.m. at Eggers Grove Forest Preserve for a tree identification hike.
     The event is sponsored by the Association for the Wolf Lake Initiative (AWLI).
     The morning session will be an exchange of memories of the Wolf Lake watershed. That would include Wolf Lake, George Lake, Powderhorn Lake, Indian Creek and Eggers Grove.
     Marianne Kozlowski, co-steward of Eggers Grove, will lead the afternoon tree identification hike. Entrance is at East 112th Street and South Avenue E, Chicago.
     After entering the forest preserve, drive to the stop sign at the T-intersection and turn left (east). Drive past the brick caretaker’s building into the east lot, and park.
     Hikers should wear sturdy shoes and outerwear fit for the weather.
