The Valpo Parks is hosting its Winter Fest Holiday Tree Lighting on at Central Park Plaza from 7 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, November 5th, 2023. The fest at Central Park Plaza will ring in the holidays and the official ice skating season at the William E. Urschel Pavilion with caroling, lights, ice skating, hot chocolate and a visit by Santa.
The lights on the Holiday Tree will be officially turned on for the season with a crowd countdown. The 30-ft. tall tree decorated with 19,000 lights Look forward to live figure skating performances, free photos with Santa, free hot cocoa and cookies, madrigal and caroling performed by the Chesterton High School Choir, performance by the Eclipse Performing Arts Rockettes, the presentation of Valparaiso’s Good Neighbor Award,
The ice rink will be open to the public with a combined $10 admission and skate rental rate from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
