Join Valparaiso Parks and Recreation as they kick off the holiday season with their annual Winter Fest! Visitors will enjoy caroling, figure skating performances by Midwest Training & Ice Center entertainment, photos with Santa, hot chocolate, and the lighting of the Central Park Plaza Christmas tree.

Vendors will be on-site selling roasted nuts, fresh popcorn, and warm drinks. After the festivities, guests are encouraged to enjoy dinner at a downtown restaurant. Present a receipt from a downtown business and receive discounted admission to the ice rink (only $10 including skate rental) to support Small Business Saturday from 7-10 PM.

The lights on the Holiday Tree will be officially turned on for the season with a crowd countdown at 7p.m. The 30-ft. tall tree decorated with 19,000 lights. Photos with Santa and figure skating exhibition will add to the festivities.

The ice rink will be open to the public with a combined $7 admission and skate rental rate from 11am – 4:45 pm & 7pm – 10pm.
