     Each year we select a cause to support and this what our team shirt is based on. This year 500 Turkeys is spotlighting veterans and active military members to raise awareness of their vital contributions to our way of life.
     500 Turkey’s mission is to Feed Families Food & Faith. With help from the community and God we have been able to give an entire meal at Thanksgiving to an estimated 68,000 people since 2009. For many years we have included giving away donated clothing. Now we give clothing throughout the year.
     Turkeypalooza will help us accomplish the mission. All proceeds from this event will help us feed families from all over NW Indiana.
