Join a ranger on Saturday, November 26, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, in search of wild turkeys and other wildlife as you work off Thanksgiving dinner at the Calumet Dunes parking lot at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Hike along the ancient Calumet shoreline of Lake Michigan and through forested dunes and small blowouts. Please remember there is now a entrance/parking fee check recreation.gov for options.

Meet at the Calumet Dunes Trail parking lot located at 1574 N 300 E (Kemil Rd), in Chesterton, just off of U.S. Highway 12 near Beverly Shores. This is the former site of the visitor center and the current home of the USGS Lake Michigan Ecological Research Station.
