  I had never heard of a&nbsp\;“Trunk or Treat”&nbsp\;until I started d
 oing Halloween Events in Northwest Indiana a&nbsp\;few years ago. To be ho
 nest\, I wondered if the idea was blasphemous to encourage trick or treati
 ng at a facility – sometimes a church\, a Fire Station\, or anyone with 
 a parking lot!&nbsp\; I found out quickly that it was an excellent outreac
 h event to our community.\n\n&nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\;For those of you who h
 ave never heard of this or want to know more\, then this article is for yo
 u! Trunk or Treat may be a great option for a Fall&nbsp\;church&nbsp\;part
 y or carnival. It could be just the right family friendly outreach event. 
 Folks Line up in a parking lot with their trunks open faced towards a cent
 er walkway. Their trunks are decorated and the patrons hand our candy to&n
 bsp\;trick or treaters.&nbsp\;Usually the Car and truck owners dress up in
  (Friendly)&nbsp\;Halloween Costumes&nbsp\;as well.\n&nbsp\; &nbsp\;&nbsp\
 ;&nbsp\; Businesses&nbsp\;are encouraged to be&nbsp\;“creative”&nbsp\;
 and can give Mom and Dad an advertising&nbsp\;novelty items&nbsp\;as well.
  You can also view some trunk or treat decoration ideas on lots of Pintere
 st boards and all over the internet. Many of these events have hayrides\, 
 and bounce houses and lots of other activities. They also have&nbsp\;compe
 titions&nbsp\;to see who has the best decorated trunk and who has the best
  costumes as well!\n&nbsp\; &nbsp\; It’s a&nbsp\;fun family&nbsp\;event 
 that makes Halloween a&nbsp\;safe and happy event.\n\n\n\n\nHayrides in No
