Join a park ranger every Saturday afternoon in February for a guided snowshoe hike through Indiana Dunes National Park’s Miller Woods. Join the ranger at the Paul H. Douglas Center on Saturday February 5th, 12th, 19th, or 26th from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, for a winter adventure. Snowshoes are available for borrowing thanks to the generous support of the Friends of Indiana Dunes. Or, you can bring your own snowshoes. If there is not enough snow for snowshoeing, we will offer a traditional hike instead. No reservation is required.
Please meet at the Paul H. Center for Environmental Education, located in the western portion of the national park at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12 in the Miller neighborhood of Gary.
