What happens when 7 nuns are mysteriously transported with their convent from cold and snowy South Bend, Indiana, to the hot desert outside of Las Vegas with its glitz, glamor, nightclubs and casinos? Let’s just say things may never be the same! When it snows in May, Sister Columba, an elderly rheumatic nun, asks St. Joseph to take her where the weather is warm. St. Joseph takes her and the entire convent to the warm sands of Nevada—just outside of Las Vegas. Las Vegas is a shock to the nuns and to St. Joseph, but they may also have a startling effect on Las Vegas. Will they help this bustling resort town give up gambling and take up contemplation?
