The Merchants Division of the WR Chamber will be once again featuring Second Saturdays each month through 2018. That means get your calendars out and expect a fun family event or an entertaining adult only event to be hitting the stores and eateries downtown each month on the Second Saturday.
Kicking it off will be Saturday, March 10 – Locate Lucky the Leprechaun at local establishments. Find Lucky at each participating merchant and you’ll get a special giveaway or discount on your purchase.
Also coming this year will be
Downtown Rocks,
119th St. Block Party,
Lemonade Bingo,
Wine.Dine.Shop.,
Spread the Love and much more to be added along the way.
Just know each month will feature something the Second Saturday to watch for and plan to enjoy along 119th St.
Most events will be from 11a.m. – 3p.m. and all will be featured on posters around town to let you know who’s participating as well as on social media outlets like Facebook where you can join the Whiting-Robertsdale Chamber site, the Visit Whiting site and the Shop.Eat.Play.Whiting or call the chamber at 219-659-0292.
