The Emmy Award-winning 1970’s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math, and more thorough clever, tuneful songs come to life and lights up the LaPorte Little Theatre stage! SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! follows Tom, a new school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV when various characters from his favorite cartoons emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such songs as “Just A Bill,” “Interplanet Janet,” and “Conjunction Junction.” It will make you want to grab a bowl of your favorite breakfast cereal and sing along!
The cast includes Vanessa Evans, Alex Gushrowski, Molly Hodge, Taylor Jump, Cassie Postelmans, Bailey Roberts, Jack Saunders, Payton Stevens, Cameron Wells, Natalie Williams, Rachel Wright and several other students from the LaPorte High School Choirs. The production is directed by Thomas Coe.
