Pumpkin Plod, Thursday, November 26th 9am – 11pm, This 39th annual Pumpkin Plod race is sponsored by the Highland Parks and Recreation Department and is an official USATF certified 10K flat and fast course through the streets of Highland, and part of the 2014 Calumet Striders Gold Cup Series. It will be chip timed by T&H Timing. Traditional pumpkin pies will be awarded to top three runners in each category. Walkers are encouraged to join in a 5K noncompetitive fun walk.
