Indiana American Water Company Pavilion at Founders Square Park is located on the north side of the new Portage Fire Station #3 at 6300 Central Avenue, in Portage.

THE CALUMET BAND is a popular group of seasoned musicians, playing a wide selection of high-energy dance music, from the 60’s to the present. Motown, Rock, Jazz or Blues, they do it all. You can hear The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty and Van Morrison, or Robin Thick, Bruno Mars and the Black Eyed Peas. It’s music for the whole family to enjoy!  Calumet Band members are Terry Swanson, guitar and vocals; John Shubat, bass and vocals; Peg Shafer, drums and vocals; and Mark Biegel, on trumpet.

THE SALT EXCHANGE, originated in 2015 by Frontline Foundations (Substance Abuse Treatment Center) located in Chesterton and LaPorte, IN,  is a collaboration of counselors, artists and volunteers creating music to encourage recovery from substance abuse. Their great sound is a fusion of various genres, from Rock and Hip-Hop, to Alternative, Blues, Indie and Grunge, to name a few.  The name “The Salt Exchange” originates from the idea, that we are all salt of the earth, and recovery is preserved through inner connectedness, music and faith.

SOUNDZ OF SANTANA, a Northwest Indiana favorite, is a top-notch band playing tribute to the Latin rock and contemporary music of legendary music icon Carlos Santana, performing all his hits from “Woodstock”  to “Supernatural”– in their truest form!  Soundz of Santana band members include David Sanchez, the founder of the group, on lead guitar; Xavier Villarreal on congas; Joe (Baby) Valdes on bass; Joe Bienevedez on keyboards; Jose Juan on drums; and Roger Zamora on percussion.

Concert-goers may wish to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Bring a picnic basket or, also available at the music fest,  food and refreshments may be purchased at food trucks, and a Wine/Beer tent by Clancy’s will also be on the premises.  For shade– or If rain threatens, bring an umbrella: concerts will be held in all but violent weather.
