“The Year of the Herb” Plant Sale

Annual and Perennial Spring Plant Sale  Sat May 7,2022

Giant Sale of all types of plants:

Flowers, veggies, herbs and shrubs including natives that LOVE to grow in our corner of the world – it’s like having a huge greenhouse right in the Miller Beach neighborhood. 

One Day Only 10am to 3pm at the Aquatorium This is a sale not to be missed. 

The day’s offerings include demonstrations on herb cookery with samples for tasting; specific planting techniques will be featured.   A full array of greenery including hanging baskets, blooming plants, bedding plants, garden club merchandise, herbs galore (over 17 different kinds of basil alone) — this sale will feature an abundance of herbs that are easy to grow and delicious to eat  PLUS “Cheesy Food Truck” will be providing yummy gourmet sandwiches. Love it!!

Fun for the whole family. Great way to teach your kids about gardening. Good way to learn about new types of plants and ways to grow them in our sandy soil and other environments.

 

Miller Garden Club members serve as Gardening Gurus “We help you with any kind of question!”  Youthful handy helpers carry your horticultural purchases to your car. Cash, check or credit/debit. All forms of payment accepted.

 

The Miller Garden Club’s mission is to provide gardening education on all levels; to protect native trees, plants and wildlife; and to beautify the Miller Beach community in Gary;
