Step into the past at LaPorte County Parks 25th annual Pioneer Days! Bring your family out to Creek Ridge County Park! Experience wagon rides, outdoor cooking, crafts, food and more. Visit with historically clad vendors, and try activities that are both fun and educational!

As visitors enter this 96 acre park they will encounter a taste of pioneer history, food, and lifestyles during the annual Pioneer Days.  You can smell the aroma of kettle corn, ham and beans, and apple butter brewing.  Enjoy the many Pioneer demonstrators such as fur traders, wood working and quilters.

Try your hand at some crafts like making a necklace or bracelets; make ceramics, try your hand at candle dipping, pick your favorite pattern and make your own tin punch design, take a horse-drawn wagon ride, enjoy Pioneer history and so much more to take home for a great family memory.

Pioneer Days will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. An admission fee is paid at the gate–$2 for adults, $1 for children or seniors, 4 and under is free.   Held at Creek Ridge County Parks, 7943 W. 400 North, Michigan City, IN 46360 (two miles east of US Hwy 421.)
