Pee-Wee Prom – Portage YMCA

Having hosted this event for several years as an alternative to the traditional daddy-daughter dance, the Portage Township YMCA is returning to Woodland Park’s Sycamore Hall on Friday,   6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, for it’s annual all-couple combination Pee-Wee Prom. No joke!

The Circus themed night is for families of all sizes and geared towards children 7 years old and younger, but all ages are welcome. Attire is themed, dress-up or semi-casual and is open to the public.

Brianna Manning, YMCA Director of Enrichment & Recreation, is excited for the event to return. “We last held Pee-Wee Prom in March 2020, just before the world shut down”, said Manning. “Two years later, we’re still in the midst of the pandemic, but our goal is to provide a special evening for all families and most importantly, you get to be your child’s first prom date!”

Catered food by Cappo’s Casual Dining with music and professional photos by Classic Photo will make for a most memorable evening and the fun doesn’t stop there. The Y’s iconic balloon-drop and take-home gift will end the evening.

$20/person, all ages, through March 2, 2023. Prices Increase on Friday, March 3, 2023 to $25/person. Tickets will be sold at the door on March 10 for $30/person.
