The Buns Care Charity has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage charitable giving and to celebrate generosity worldwide. The Buns Care Charity’s KIDS SHOE DRIVE begins this year on #GivingTuesday, November 29 and runs through Sunday, December 4.
#GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, to kick off the Christmas giving season.

In a recent message to the charity, Mrs R of Highland, Indiana wrote:
“…..and our family of six is struggling at the moment. Our two sons need gym shoes for school. Our daughters need shoes too but they don’t attend school yet. Any help would be a blessing for us”

Sincere, humble requests like this are common. Struggling families need the community’s help. These children are not able to properly participate in school and play activities. Four pair of shoes for this family’s children would not only allow them to be more physically and socially active but would also provide a wonderful self-esteem boost.

The Buns Care Charity was formed to offer help in many forms to the children in struggling Northwest Indiana families. It has been verified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, FEIN 81-2779015. It is incorporated in the State of Indiana as Buns Care Inc, business ID 20160516114166, a Domestic Nonprofit, conforming to law as prescribed by the provisions of the Indiana Nonprofit Act of 1991.

More information about the charity is available at www.BunsCare.org. The same website can accept your much needed secure, tax deductible credit card DONATION. Donations can also be made by mailing a check to Buns Care, 2301 Cline Ave, Suite 107, Schererville, IN 46375. The Buns Care cannot do it alone. Funds are always needed for the charity to be able to continue to provide help for Northwest Indiana’s children in need.
