     Footlight happily announces their second show of their 72nd Season, MIRACLE ON SOUTH DIVISION STREET. We’ve all seen MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, but this “miracle” will take us to South Division Street in Buffalo, New York.
     You will meet the Nowak family, The mother Clara played by Debbie Bartholomew, and her 3 adult children, Beverly, Ruth, and Jimmy played respectively by Michigan City residents, Bobbi Ann Lauritsen, Crystal Lundstrom-Sobus, and Alexander Bonner always knew they were special since the miraculous Christmas Eve in 1942 when the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Grandpa…in his barber shop!
     Ruth unveils her decision to write and star in a one-woman show about the family miracle so “the whole world will know!” The family, however, finds their faith shaken when a deathbed confession causes the legend to unravel!
     The results are both hilarious and heartfelt. MIRACLE ON SOUTH DIVISION STREET, directed by Chesterton native, Denise Barkow and assisted by Joe Blanchard has delivered just the ticket to start off the holiday season with this fresh new show.

     The Production Manager has assembled an award-winning crew that includes Kevin Doler, Tony and Michael Thomas, Kristen Allison, Adam Wogoman, Laura Meyer, Thom Nelson, and Nikki Anthony. Footlight Players Theatre is located at 1705 Franklin Street in Michigan City.

The space seats 80 people comfortably and although there is no longer assigned seating, reservations are strongly suggested to insure you getting a seat for the show which promises to be a hit of the season.

You can make reservations one of 3 ways. in person at our box office whenever the theater is open, telephoning the box-office at (219) 874-4035 or go on the internet www.FootlightPlayers.org , and click the “Reservations” button.

MIRACLE ON SOUTH DIVISION STREET will be presented on November 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, and 14. The showtimes are, Thursday through Saturday 7:30 PM with Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM. Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults, $10 for children ages 12 and under.

There is a discounted price of $10.00 for all on the Thursday 11/11 show. If you were a patron for our 71st or 72nd season you may use your complimentary passes. Gather the family and friends together and make this show start your holidays of with “comfort and joy”!
