The festival will be held the first weekend of November in Michigan City.
The Seventh Annual Michigan City Video Fest returns to the Michigan City Public Library, Saturday November 6 at 2 PM (CST), after a covid hiatus.
Among the videos this year will be the premiere of the locally produced animated short “The Last Days of Digger” as well as a captivating glimpse of Dancing with Horses in Joanna Mendl Shaw’s video “Imprinted.”
There will also be a return of “Lily of San Louis”, seasonal treats, Midsummer Dreams, special deliveries and medieval Venetian intrigue.
The mission of the festival is to show the newest, most entertaining and highest quality videos available with a priority given to local video makers. And this year is no exception.
As in the past, priority was given to Regional video makers and to local subject matter although the top concern remains to present the highest quality material possible.
All genre were considered including, but not limited to, animations, documentaries, commercials and trailers. The preference is for videos shorter than 10 minutes. Longer form videos may be featured.
