Attorney Ken Allen and Lake Area United Way partner to bring Thanksgiving meals to Lake County families.
Thanks to a donation by Kenneth J. Allen Law Group and a partnership with Lake Area United Way, that turkey aroma will be in the kitchens of families in need in Lake County, Indiana this Thanksgiving holiday.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s distribution will be a drive through pantry model. You’ll drive up to the Wicker Park Social Center, a volunteer will scan your registration ticket, and then place your basket in the trunk of your car and you will be on your way. All volunteers will wear proper PPE.
Allen’s Law Group has donated 1,200 holiday meals that will be distributed Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Wicker Park Social Center in Highland.
Once you complete your registration you will be emailed a “ticket” for your basket. Please either print this ticket or have it pulled up on your phone when you arrive to pick up your basket. If you do not have a ticket you will NOT be able to pick up a basket.
