Come party with us – this is not your typical fundraiser! The Gala is a primary fundraiser which supports the Classical Arts Centre renovation project that will serve as future home to IBT and hub for all arts.
As part of our commitment to community development, IBT is leading the effort to renovate the historic Lake County Nurses Home in Crown Point. While neglected for over 32 years, we are now in the process of transforming it into the Classical Arts Centre – a space for artists of all kinds and the new home of IBT.
In 2016 they completed the renovation of its handsome Georgian Revival exterior to its original character. All proceeds from the Gala will go toward the interior phase of this renovation project. When completed, this will fulfill our vision of making this incredible building a community focal point for performing and visual arts and culture in Northwest Indiana.
