Veterans!! In honor of your service to our nation, we invite you to a wellness experience with art and horses. This event is facilitated by Army veteran Todd Burkhardt and Lauren Daugherty co-founders of Creative Arts for Veterans. It is open to veterans and their spouses, and those currently serving (active duty, national guard, or reserves) and their spouses.

This event will be a combination of art making inspired by the sand mandalas of Tibet and time spent in the healing presence of horses. You will use natural materials found around the stables to create your own mandalas focusing on the ideas of impermanence and letting go. You will also interact with horses to support a felt sense of safety, connection, and resiliency.

This event will be outside. Dress appropriately for the weather. You will get muddy. This event is free, and sponsored by Anam Cara and Creative Arts for Vets. This is a non-riding experience.
