Are you ready for the PARTY of the Year!? ALL AGES VOTE! ALL AGES LOVE HOOSIER STAR! Get ready for the party of the year with food, drinks, friends, and the audience voting for the winners! Hoosier STAR is Indiana’s Premier Vocal Competition where the audience votes to crown the next Youth and Adult Hoosier STAR!

La Porte, IN– The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) is holding auditions for the 18th Annual Hoosier Star vocal competition. Sponsored by Horizon Bank, NIPSCO, Northwest Health and Duneland Media, Hoosier Star is open to amateur singers of all musical styles and ages. Competitors can compete individually or as a duet. Auditions times will be held at the Bethany Lutheran Church, 102 G Street, La Porte, on Saturday, March 18, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (CDT) and Sunday, March 19 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (CDT).
