Taltree Arboretum & Gardens will be hosting Holidays in the Depot every weekend in December before Christmas.
All Aboard the Holiday Express! Saturdays in December celebrate the holidays with your little ones at Taltree. Children come in their pajamas and enter a wonderland of trains with Taltree’s signature Train Tree, gingerbread and peppermint villages, and special holiday trains in the Railway Garden. Children will do a holiday craft, enjoy festive snacks and hear a reading of the modern classic, The Polar Express. Santa will make a ‘surprise’ visit each week.
The Holiday Express program will be held at 10:30 a.m. on December 3, 10, and 17. The cost is $20 for the first child and adult. Each additional child is $10 and each additional adult is $5. Seating is limited. Reservations are required. The Railway Garden trains will run when weather permits.
Holidays in the Depot continue on Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Taltree’s featured Train Tree will be on display and the trains continue to run in the miniature villages and outdoors.
Holidays in the Depot are Saturdays from noon-4pm and Sundays from 10am-4pm. Cost is regular admission. The Railway Garden trains will run when weather permits. The Taltree Gift shop will be open each weekend with many deals and holiday gifts.
