Strap on your hiking shoes and join a Naturalist to not only see beautiful views, but to learn more about both the natural and cultural history of the Indiana Dunes State Park as you explore the tallest Indiana Dune named Mount Tom.
Note that during peak visitation times, entry into our park might be delayed. Parking lots around the Nature Center can fill quickly. Please plan accordingly.
All our programs are free (unless otherwise noted) and open to the public after paying the park entrance fee.($7 in-state & $12 out-of-state)
Interpretive programs are designed to entertain and enrich folks of all ages. Children under 12 must have an adult with them at programs.
Thanks to a donation from the Friends of Indiana Dunes our Nature Center has sand ATV chairs that may be rented for free for those with accessible trail needs. Call the Nature Center with questions.
