Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the City of Hammond celebrate the Halloween season with a Canvas & Mimosas class on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Hammond’s historic Civic Center. The event will take place in the gymnasium where participants can enjoy mimosas and learn “hands-on” how to paint a Halloween scene.

This, our second canvas painting event at the Civic Center, is open to residents as well as non-residents of the City of Hammond. Must be 21 and over to participate.

Registration for this event is $45 and is taking place at the Hammond Civic Center located at 5825 Sohl Ave. This fee includes all supplies for the canvas painting, step-by-step instruction and two free mimosas. This is not an open bar event. Therefore, only two mimosas will be provided per registrant. Spaces are limited to 30 people, all of which are required to come wearing a face mask or covering.
