“Halfway To Pierogi Fest” on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at EAT in downtown Hammond. Local rock band, Nomad Planets, will play a set of original tunes to get you good and ready, and then play AND RECORD that polka set live before your very eyes and ears. Those tunes will then be pressed to CD and made available for purchase at Pierogi Fest in July of 2016.
This show is going to be a blast from start to finish, and we sincerely hope you can join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event. The setting will be an extremely cool one – our dear friend Raymundo Garcia will provide foodstuffs and beverages (adult and otherwise) for purchase in the fabulous space that is EAT and the masterminds behind Pierogi Fest from the Whiting-Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce will join us as well to help lend an air of autheticity to the proceedings.
A minimal $5 admission per person to help with recording costs will be collected at the door at this all-ages show. Looking forward to seeing you there!
