The 3rd Annual Griffith Oktoberfest kicks off in Central Park this weekend. The celebration begins Oct 7 from 4:30 – 11:00 p.m.; Oct 8 from noon to 11:00 p.m.; and Oct 9 from noon to 9:00 p.m.

pumpkins-2Festival-goers can enjoy German food, a pumpkin patch, live authentic German music, a kid zone as well as an enclosed and heated family beer garden. Also on hand will be a variety of German biers and wines. Included on the food menu will be Schnitzel, bratwurst, Cabbage Soup, Spaetzle and more.

“We look forward to another successful Oktoberfest. We have expanded the seating area making it very family friend with plenty of activities for kids. In addition to the German beers, Griffith’s three microbreweries will have some exception seasonal beers offered,” said Rick Ryfa, Griffith’s Town Council President.

     The Griffith Oktoberfest is held annually in the beginning of October at Central Park. Festival- goers can enjoy German food, a pumpkin patch, live authentic German music, and a wide variety of German biers and wines!

No outside coolers or alcohol allowed. Strictly enforced.
